I know this uses a ray cast and it's best to keep big colliders from blocking ray casts.
I want to go back to using this method rather than a menu to target the monsters---just touch the one you want to kill.
Would it be all right to put most things with colliders other than the player and the monsters in the ignore ray cast layer? Would that interfere with anything? It doesn't seem to interfere with colliding with barrels or doors, etc. Any help is appreciated.
